When you think of Kentucky Trailer, think customization. Kentucky specializes in designing trailers to your exact specifications. Kentucky Trailer has long been the industry standard for high cube moving vans, and is known to have trailers with higher resale value.
Trans Advantage stocks a wide selection of Kentucky Trailers to fit our customers' needs. Our sales staff can also custom order a trailer to your exact specifications.

Listed below are the most popular types of trailers for our industry.

This type of trailer is typically used for household goods and electronic applications. It is designed with a deck or raised floor area over the drive tires of the tractor and with a small drop (usually 14" - 17"), and then a flat floor to the rear doors. The versatility in the number of side doors, multiple door sizes and their location, low floor height, as well as the inclusion of multiple storage boxes, makes this trailer our most popular model. Along with our ability to build a "custom" trailer to your specifications, Trans Advantage "stocks" trailers that are available for immediate delivery.
Within this program our trailers have the following options:
255/70R 22.5 low profile tires are the "industry standard", or 265/70R 19.5 tires for an even lower floor height providing additional cubic feet capacity.

"standard or typical" side door arrangements include a door on the deck area and three doors rear of the drop on the curbside, and one 8' or 10' wide door centered rear of the drop on the roadside. The other door arrangement offered is often referred to as a "staggered" door configuration as the doors on the curbside have the same placement as a typical trailer, however, the large roadside door is replaced with two smaller doors that are centered between the curbside doors. This type of a door arrangement provides even greater accessibility to the loading area of the trailer.

Other popular features include, full translucent roof for better natural lighting, a "sliding" loading platform recessed in the rear frame to provide ease of loading, additional logistic track to better secure cargo, and a "timer" switch for the interior lights.
